This is going to sound overly simplistic
But I usually don’t write
When I think I don’t have linguistic
Things about which to write
For fear of misusing words
Fear of getting wrapped up
With how to say certain things
Instead of what I want to say
Leads to my writers dead lock
I begin to think
That I’ve used up my entire quota
Of creative expressive words
When the inspiration comes
Writing naturally pours
If I have a suspicion
That It might not come out right
Or as perfectly as I would like
I’d rather not write
I agree. This should be one of the many reasons why some of us writers do not attempt writing.
